August 2005 schedule-buoy 10 on the Columbia

Here is a typical days limit of Chinooks from the Columbia at buoy 10 near Astoria. The season opens tomorrow August 1 st. and will continue well into September for that area. Fishing for me starts around the 5th of August and lasts until September 15th. I have some open dates in August as well as September. If you want to experience this fishery call me at 503-318-5262 or toll free @ 877-773-2159.
Also remember that the limit this year is one Chinook and one fin clipped Coho while fishing in the river. Outside in the ocean the limit is two salmon and the Coho must be fin clipped. Chinook minimum length is 24 inches and Coho are 16 inch minimum.
